Datacare

Data Management For the Legal Sector

The law firms that Datacare serve are increasingly communicating the same message. That is the need for an efficient records management service and reduced storage costs. Continual growth in the volume of paper that needs to be retained can make the prospect of long-term storage unwieldy and expensive.

Datacare has brought a range of experience and success in delivering storage, records management and imaging services to both the public and private sectors. Currently, we are custodians of approximately one million records on behalf of clients in the legal and financial industries. Our experienced team are well qualified to help advise your firm on the best way to manage your data. With our help you can reduce the risk to your documents and deliver improvements in office efficiency.

We understand that legal practices need frequent access to their stored files. A dedicated fleet of vehicles, which are tracked at all times, are available to collect and deliver documents to and from multiple offices. Alternatively, if you don’t need the physical file, you can save even more time and money by using our image on demand service.

Our state of the art imaging bureau is capable of scanning documents to BIP0008:2004; the Code of Practice for legal admissibility and evidential weight of information stored electronically. Fax, email or use our secure online portal (RsWeb) to request a file be retrieved, scanned and available in as little as 2 hours for priority requests of up to 200 pages.

It is Datacare’s policy to run CRB checks on every single employee. Those members of staff that come into contact with data of a particularly sensitive nature are further scrutinised through use of enhanced CRB checks.
