MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

We are looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic and flexible Sales Support Specialist to work with our busy and dynamic Sales Support team in Redhill. The successful candidate will be expected to assist the team with the following, to include but not be exclusive to:

  • Working alongside our Account Managers to provide support to our customers. Building and strengthening the relationships we hold with these customers by ensuring they are provided with consistent high level assistance as and when required.
  • Using in house systems to ensure processes and procedures are carried out in the most efficient and effective manner. Some examples of which are:
    • The set up of new accounts
    • Termination of accounts
    • Renewal of customer contracts
  • Advising both customers and internal colleagues on queries relating to pricing/contracts and accounts.
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries through both telephone and e-mail.

 

KEY TASKS
  • Ensure that all internal and external queries are dealt with professionally and within agreed time frames.
  • Ensure that all sales processes are followed to completion to ensure maximized revenue and efficiency.
  • Produce required management information and reporting to ensure Account Management and Senior Management have the most up to date information.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Personal Specifications for this role would be to include but not be exclusive to:

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft applications namely Word and Excel
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Be able to work on their own initiative 
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own
  • Be able to liaise with all levels of personnel

COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report any Health & Safety, Quality, Information Security, Environmental and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery incidents to your supervisor/line manager

     

    Managers are responsible for training staff on Company Policies and Procedures contained in Health & Safety, Quality, Information Security, Environmental and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Management Systems.
