In-life Sales Executive

Main purpose of job

The role of the In-life Sales Executive is to engage with our none account managed customers and maintain and maximise their spend with Datashred. Through targeted outbound campaigns that have been determined by our CRM Team, they will contact customers for an account review in order to re-sign contracts and reduce churn. It is also to promote additional services to existing customers from both Datashred and Group portfolio. This is a Desk Based role where you will make outbound calls into a defined data set. This contact will form part of our overall customer contact strategy using other online and offline channels.

Key tasks

  • Call targeted customers in order to secure existing business to a new Restore Service Agreement & identify opportunity to grow the value of book. Endeavour to increase prices in line with Price Grid wherever commercially viable to do so
  • Minimize cancellations to the business via proactively contacting account base and building strong relationships
  • Ensure renewals pricing is calculated to retain business and not so prohibitively high that it prevents customers from continuing to trade with Restore Datashred
  • Quote and negotiate prices, prepare Service Agreements, ensure customers accurately complete and return Agreements and record orders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key operational staff
  • Achieve required daily and monthly KPI’s as required by the business
  • Maintain and keep up to date record of sales, retentions & quotes via CRM to ensure accurate reporting on weekly and monthly basis

Skills, qualifications & experience

  • Experience of telesales in B2B environment with an ability to close sales over the phone essential
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Self-confident with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Numerical skills, particular competence when calculating pricing
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively
  • Experience of working to deadlines and achievement of set targets
  • Good negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail and creative in solving problems
  • Experience of working within a sales environment
  • Knowledge of the company’s products and services would be an advantage

  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures contained in the Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems
  • Report any Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality incidents to your supervisor

Managers are responsible for training staff on Company Policies and Procedures contained in the Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems
