Job Overview

Restore Datashred is one of the UK’s leading on-site and off-site shredding companies, providing confidential document and data shredding services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Appointment Setter & Lead Generator to arrange sales meetings and provide leads to the various sales teams. The key aspect of this role will involve generating leads and appointments for the Field Sales team and Manchester Telesales team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established market leader. You will be working from an extensive database in order to generate leads and enquiries for our business. You will liaise closely with both the Internal Sales manager and Head of Sales, as well as a large team of experienced team leaders and sales people who will provide support and guidance where required. The role has great opportunity to develop within our business and the right candidate will be provided with key opportunities to expand their career within the Sales Team should they wish to.

An effective Appointment and Lead Generator must be an excellent communicator and have great people skills and must be comfortable presenting our service over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting potential clients to discuss their current Shredding arrangements
  • Confirm and organise sales leads for the telesales team
  • Direct prospects to the field & book appointments when needed
  • Go the “extra mile” to achieve and exceed monthly targets and KPI’s

Requirements

  • Relevant experience within a Telesales/Appointment Setting role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting targets, preferably over the phone
  • Ability to learn about services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, measured and able to handle rejection
  • GCSE level or equivalent
