Think Shred, Think Home Shred!

That’s why we’re offering Home Shred – a brand new service that enables businesses and individuals to dispose of confidential paper waste safely and securely when you’re working from home.

Home Shred is a simple, cost-effective service that’s supported by all Restore Datashred’s processes, accreditations, commitment to sustainability and recognised customer service excellence. Used in tandem with up-to-date software, strict password control and the protocols imposed by Data Protection Impact Assessments, Home Shred provides complete peace of mind for secure homeworking.

What is Home Shred?
It’s a service based around a box, a robust, corrugated cardboard document box that serves as a secure recycling bin. It’s double-walled for extra strength and holds up to 2.5kgs, or the equivalent of 700 pieces of A4 paper, and can sit on or next to the home workstation.

How does Home Shred work?

It’s a simple, four-step service.

  1. Order a Home Shred box through the Restore Datashred customer portal. The box will be with you in 48 hours.
  2. Fill the Home Shred box with confidential paper waste.
  3. Take the sealed Home Shred box to your local Post Office where, on pre-paid postage, it will travel to one of our secure shredding facilities.
  4. Our high-tech shredding machines will destroy all of it – confidential information, box and all – on the day of arrival, and process 100% of it for recycling.

It’s a no fuss, no mess solution, with built-in audit trail and a certificate of destruction for each and every box.
