The Science Museum in London, in collaboration with GCHQ, is running a Top Secret exhibition exploring the development of communications intelligence.
The exhibition runs from now until the end of February, timed to coordinate with GCHQ’s 100th anniversary. The exhibition showcases the documents and gadgets used to transmit secret messages, from First World War cyphers onwards.
Alan Turing and Bletchley Park feature prominently in the exhibition (with an Enigma machine and code book on display), as does Cold War espionage. And intelligence is brought right up to date with information about cyber security and the current work defending against terrorism and digital attack.
Cyber security is the modern-day buzzword, and headache, for us all – corporations and individuals alike. It has become essential to have strong defences and secure data backups.
Our magnetic tape storage facilities are located across England, Wales and Scotland and are security and fire monitored and temperature and humidity controlled 24 hours a day, while our cloud data centre is housed in an ultra-secure ex-MOD site in Kent, which will exceed your most rigorous security demands.
If you would like to find out more about how we can help you win the cyber security battle, give one of our well informed, approachable people a call on 0333 060 6824.
