Ethical management of furniture
Clearance of older, unwanted furniture is one of the more carbon intensive procedures many businesses incur after a move. To minimize the carbon impact of a customer’s project, we adhere to the following process:
- Audit and gather data, including project objectives and identify furniture to enter the circular economy.
- Liaise with pre-loved supply chain and partner schools/charities to maximise circularity and rebates. Zero to landfill mantra, but achieving as much re-use as possible
- Co-ordinate charitable donations on behalf of the client. Our charity partner for 2024 is Barnardo’s.
- Share this information with the customer team, empowering them to go as green as possible.
- Produce post-project accredited carbon reporting/case studies.
