Restore Harrow Green Laboratory Services completed the relocation of Puraffinity in West London as well as the delivery to point of use of their new built in ducted fume cabinets prior to the relocation. The move was of two multiple occupancy offices and two research laboratories. Due to the nature of the collection address we had to use smaller vehicles as there were height restrictions in place.

The team completed a number of elements for the customer including:

• A full site survey to meet with the key staff to run through all of the relocation requirements.
• As downtime was of a critical nature we assisted in the packing and unpacking of all consumables, glassware and small laboratory equipment. This enabled us to complete the relocation of the lab and office areas over three days, minimising the impact on Pureaffinity’s work.
• We packed, moved and unpacked 150 crates and cages and supplied bespoke crates and pallets for larger more delicate equipment to ensure they were relocated safely.
• Harrow Green’s DGSA liaised with the key Puraffinity team members and to get the required information for us to safely and legally pack, relocate and unpack 40 crates of chemicals.
• The ADR team completed the packing, moving and unpacking of the chemicals.
• Building protection was installed to all main walkways, doorways and lifts for added safety.
• Removal of all Restore Harrow Green generated waste from site.

The relocation was an overwhelming success and far exceeded the customer’s expectations. It was completed in the planned and agreed timescales and within budget. This meant there was minimal downtime for the Pureaffinity teams.
