About
Restore Harrow Green’s Glasgow team was appointed by NHS Forth Valley to manage a complex, multi-phase relocation from Carseview House to various healthcare and administrative sites across the region.
The project spanned from December 2024 to March 2025, involving moves across Falkirk Community Hospital, Stirling Health & Care Village, Carronbank House, and Mayfield Building. The work included the careful relocation of desks, IT setups, medical records, ergonomic furniture, archive boxes, and large equipment – all while minimising disruption to ongoing healthcare operations.
The Challenges
With numerous departments, staggered schedules, and constantly evolving requirements, the project demanded flexibility, clarity, and precise coordination. Many of the moves were subject to change due to NHS Forth Valley’s organisational change policy.
Some phases required specialist packing, storage logistics, or the disposal of heavy equipment such as safes and filing cabinets. Short lead times added another layer of complexity, making efficient mobilisation and communication critical to success.
The Solution
Led by Steven Hall and supported by one of our skilled Project Managers, Restore Harrow Green deployed experienced relocation crews and dedicated project coordination.
We delivered and retrieved over 100 packing crates, provided inventory management, and facilitated secure skips for unwanted items. Where required, items were dismantled, transported for storage, or reinstalled at the destination – all completed with flexibility and professionalism to support NHS Forth Valley’s dynamic needs.
A structured but adaptable approach ensured all elements, from IT bundles to ergonomic furniture, were handled with care.
The Outcome
Every phase was completed on schedule, to a high standard, and with glowing praise from NHS Forth Valley. Karen McKay, who led the project from the client side, scored Restore Harrow Green 10/10 across every metric, praising our team for their responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to adapt to a fast-moving and challenging project. We were especially proud to maintain continuity through Steven Hall, a familiar and trusted contact for NHS Forth Valley.
