Do you require your files to be confidentially destroyed after digitisation?
How would you like to receive your digitized files after conversion?
Many NHS Trusts and CCGs still have a large archive of paper patient records. With NHS Trusts, in particular, full buildings can be dedicated to the storage of these records. This is obviously at odds with the long-term vision of paper-free NHS, where your patient records can travel with you to any location within the NHS suite.
Restore work with many NHS Trusts, CCGs and Lloyd George files and private medical organisations to digitise their patient records, whether through bulk archive scanning, regular collections of new paper files or day forward scanning based upon upcoming appointments. Restore Digital offer a fully auditable process, from the point of collection to the safe and secure transfer of the final scanned images back to the client. Restore can confirm certification to, and/or work in accordance with the standards and guidelines below:
We understand the importance of these standards as a way of guaranteeing quality that reflects our clients own high standards. Similarly, our quality assurance process ensures that your scanned image meets the pre-agreed specifications.
We also provide the option of scanning certain files urgently, as the need arises. We refer to this as Scan on Demand (ScoDs), and we’ll prioritise the scanning of the requested files according to agreed SLAs.
Post scanning all records are stored in our warehouse until a written confirmation that the files can be returned or securely destroyed. If the latter, Restore Digital work with our sister organisation, DataShred to arrange the secure destruction, and upon completion you’ll receive a signed certificate from the DataShred Managing Director, Debbie Pugh.
