Restore Information Management accreditations and certifications and what they mean
We pride ourselves on continuous improvement to ensure our customers see us as a trusted partner. Our management systems are independently certified by BSI who in turn are UKAS accredited. Maintaining certification often involves a commitment to ongoing training and improvement, but our team is committed to upholding the highest standards to keep your data safe and secure.

ISO 9001 – Quality Management systems
Ensures we meet the highest statutory and regulatory standards throughout the business.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
This certification enables us to monitor our ESG performance, reduce our carbon footprint, build awareness among Restore Information Management colleagues and establish compliance with all applicable environmental regulations while pursuing continuous improvement through the use of indicators and controls that allow for meaningful changes. This aligns with our ESG strategy and becoming Net-Zero by 2035.

BCMS ISO 22301 – Business Continuity
With this certification, the likelihood of disruptive incidents is reduced, and preparedness to respond and recover from such an incident, whether it is man-made or natural, is ensured. Both physical and digital threats are addressed by employing well-defined guidelines that require secure data backups, minimise losses, and speed up the recovery time of critical functions.

ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management
The international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). Allows us to work with customers to meet their needs and expectations for security controls and information handling.

BS 10008 Electronic Information Management
This outlines best practice for the implementation and operation of electronic information management systems, including the storage and transfer of information, this certification Provides the standards required for protecting sensitive data held by Restore Information Management.

Cyber Essentials
Certification gives us peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.

Cyber Essentials Plus
Cyber Essentials Plus still has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach, and the protections you need to put in place are the same, but for Cyber Essentials Plus a hands-on technical verification is carried out.

Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators. It aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. FORS provides a quality and performance benchmark for vehicles.

PCI DSS Compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
PCI DSS is a set of security standards established to safeguard payment card information and prevent unauthorised access. It’s to protect the data collected in a physical format.

FSQS Certification
The FSQS Registered Mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in the financial sector and indicates that an organisation has gone through the process required to demonstrate its commitment and credentials to the industry.

ICO Registration Certificate
An ICO certificate signifies that Restore Digital takes data protection seriously and ensures compliance with UK GDPR regulations. This can increase trust and confidence from customers, partners, and potential clients who value data privacy.

NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)
Having the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) certificate signifies that Restore Digital has undergone an assessment and demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting the privacy and security of health and care data. This can be particularly valuable for businesses that work with the NHS or other healthcare providers in the UK.

RoSPA Gold Award
We received the RoSPA Gold Award for our exemplary health and safety performance in 2023. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire team. This was awarded to Restore Digital prior to becoming Restore Information Management.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System
Ensures a unified, clear framework for Occupational Health and Safety performance. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational risk and hazards, including promoting and protecting physical and mental health.
BS EN 7858 – Security Screening for Personnel
We work to this standard as a minimum when employing new staff. It gives best-practice recommendations, sets the standard for the security screening of staff in an environment where the safety of people, goods or property is essential.
‘Place of Deposit’ (PoD)
We worked hard to secure the ‘Place of Deposit’ (PoD) status, to be able to store public records of historical significance,

We ensure scanning processes and electronic document management offerings are compliant with the requirements of the NHS Clinical Information Standard, DCB0129. This sits alongside our compliance to the NHS DSP Toolkit.
