We’re thrilled to announce an exciting milestone for Restore Information Management – our brand-new 85,000 sq. ft. storage facility in Durham. This newly built site will accommodate an incredible one million boxes, making it one of the largest facilities in our portfolio.
Built for the future
The Durham facility is built to an exceptionally high standard, boasting strong sustainability credentials, including a BREEAM Excellent rating. BREEAM, a globally recognized environmental assessment method, evaluates the performance of buildings and promotes sustainable design and construction practices. This achievement highlights our ongoing commitment to minimizing environmental impact.
Strategic location
Conveniently located adjacent to Junction 61 of the A1(M), the facility offers easy access to Newcastle, Middlesbrough, and the surrounding Northeast region, making it a prime location for both efficiency and accessibility.
Supporting growth and efficiency
We’re excited to begin operations at our Durham site, with the first boxes scheduled to arrive in February 2025. A new vault will also be built to provide media storage. The site will support future growth in the region and bolster our overall operations.
Driving sustainability and excellence
This investment is part of Restore’s ongoing strategy to provide state-of-the-art facilities, enhance our service capabilities while meeting the highest standards of sustainability and operational excellence.

A huge thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to bring this ambitious project to life. Together, we’re building a future that’s bigger, better, and more sustainable.
