Restore Technology expands full IT lifecycle service across the UK

Restore Technology has invested in a major capacity expansion of its Device Lifecycle Management operations across its Birmingham and Runcorn sites, reflecting surging customer demand for asset management from deployment to end-of-life.

The Device Lifecycle Management service was originally centered around the company’s Cardington base, with satellite services in Birmingham and Runcorn. In response to growing demand for the service across the UK, Restore Technology has invested in the creation of full scale Device Lifecycle Management operations in Birmingham and Runcorn, through significant IT infrastructure upgrades and the installation of specialised processing stations.

Supporting devices from deployment to end-of-life

Restore Technology’s Device Lifecycle Management service supports organisations in managing their IT devices from initial deployment through to secure end-of-life disposal.

Whether employees are joining, moving or leaving a business, and whether they are working on-site or remotely, Restore Technology helps ensure assets remain secure and compliant throughout their lifecycle.

This includes support for device deployment, hardware and software upgrades, moves and changes, secure data destruction, IT asset disposal, refurbishment and recycling.

IT Lifecycle

Greater national coverage

The expansion provides greater geographical coverage for the service, supported by Restore Technology’s 65-strong fleet of vehicles.

This gives Restore Technology the capacity to serve customers with distributed estates, multi-site requirements and high-volume asset processing needs.

For customers, the expanded footprint provides access to national logistical support without the need to build that capability in-house.

About Us

Improving visibility across the lifecycle

As IT estates become more distributed, organisations need greater visibility of where their assets are, how they are being managed, and what happens to them at every stage of their working life.

Restore Technology’s customer portal supports this by giving customers real-time visibility of asset status, with a central dashboard and detailed information available for individual jobs and assets from booking through to completion. Customers can also access retrospective documentation and download key certifications to support compliance and reporting.

This means customers can track activity across the device lifecycle more easily, helping to reduce manual updates, improve transparency and support better decision-making.

Customer Portal

Secure, compliant and sustainable IT asset management

“Device Lifecycle Management is a prime example of the full lifecycle approach we take at Restore Technology. It means we can support customers from the moment devices are deployed, through every move, change or upgrade, and on to secure end-of-life disposal or value recovery. That is becoming increasingly important as organisations manage more distributed IT estates, hybrid workforces and complex compliance requirements. They need to know where their assets are, how they are being managed, and that sensitive data is protected at every stage. By investing in the creation of full scale Device Lifecycle Management operations in our Birmingham and Runcorn sites, we can give customers greater national coverage, faster logistical support and the reassurance that their assets are being managed securely, sustainably and at scale.”
Quentin Jackson, Sales Director at Restore Technology.

The expansion is underpinned by Restore Technology’s secure handling and destruction credentials. The company recently reconfirmed its status as a UK Government certified NCSC CAS-S provider, an assurance held since the standards were first introduced, providing independent evidence that its secure destruction and sanitisation services continue to meet one of the UK’s most rigorous assurance frameworks. Restore Technology’s government certification is further supported by NPSA accreditation.

Restore Technology is also a JOSCAR supplier membership, strengthening its ability to support highly regulated and security-conscious sectors, including where assets need to be removed from site.
