Restore Records Management is delighted to announce we have won The Document Manager Awards 2023.
We lifted the Project of the Year – Public Sector award in recognition of a project in which we helped the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) optimise and streamline their 28.5 million files.
The use of bespoke software, developed in-house with our expert technical team, was vital, along with the hard work and dedication of 120 colleagues who worked effortlessly around the clock to complete an exhaustive audit for the UK government department.
Our approach and solution to this unique project helped reduce DWP’s inventory by more than 50% and saw 2,200 tonnes of confidential waste securely and safely destroyed.

“This was a complex project, one of the biggest projects we have ever worked on – and one which generated significant cost savings on property for the DWP as well as lowering their future storage charges.
“It also reduced the number of files they may want to digitise in future when the time is right, which would deliver even more cost savings for the department.
“We are delighted this work has been recognised by judges at the Document Manager Awards”.
