What is the NCSC CAS-S Scheme?
The CAS-S (Commodity Assurance Services – Sanitisation) is a certification programme run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It’s a government recognised assurance framework that sets rigorous requirements for the secure sanitisation and destruction of electronic storage media.
The scheme is designed to provide assurance that commercial data destruction services meet the NCSC’s high-security standards. Working with a CAS-S certified provider is essential for any organisation handling government-classified or sensitive data, as it demonstrates adherence to the highest standards of secure data destruction.

How does this affect our customers?
