Primary school children in Basingstoke have had their opportunities for learning more about the big, wide world and presenting their investigations about it given a boost recently. Pupils at Four Lanes Junior School are the proud and happy recipients of 20 cleaned and upgraded high-spec Dell laptops, complete with licensed software and chargers, that were donated to them by one of Restore Technology’s clients.
Julie Singleton and Joe Welch from Unum UK, a leading specialist employee benefits provider, asked us to help them prepare their no-longer-needed IT devices so that they could be re-used and benefit others, specifically the next generation represented by these young schoolchildren.
Ben Cornish, Restore Technology’s account manager comments on the donation: “Julie and Joe took great care in ensuring the school got these high-spec laptops and it was a pleasure for us to work with them and support our client with something they really cared about.”
