How our regular shredding process works
Scheduled product delivery
On agreed date that suits your business needs, you'll receive a secure lockable console or bin from one of our Secure Collection Operatives (SCO's). This can be filled with any materials that require secure shredding, including paper, digital media, uniforms or other textiles. Regular shredding customers can opt for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly collections.
Collection and shredding
Once filled, the secure console or bin will be collected by our SCO at a pre-agreed time once they have signed in and shown their ID to a member of staff. The contents are then safely emptied into a secure lockable wheelie bin to be taken to our specialised vehicle, where it is shredded on-site or off-site at one of our secure destruction centres.
Chain of custody closed
A Waste Transfer Note and Certificate of Destruction will be supplied confirming all material has been collected and destroyed in accordance with BS EN 1573 2023 standards. Any shredded paper will then be baled sent forward to be recycled.
Regular Shredding FAQs
We understand that sometimes things can go wrong. Therefore, depending on the circumstance we can look to arrange a shredding collection at the next earliest opportunity. Where any public holiday takes place we will look to rearrange a collection date to the nearest possible revised date to suit the business – subject to availability.
We understand that waste generation can fluctuate; we remain flexible so you can typically miss a scheduled shredding visit if you haven’t produced enough confidential waste. We recommend contacting our customer service team in advance to inform them of your decision. This allows us to adjust our schedule and avoid unnecessary visits. We can then reschedule your next collection for when you anticipate having a sufficient volume of materials. Charges may still apply subject to contractual terms.
